BCCI announced the list of artists performing in Pre-match ceremony of the IND vs PAK clash in Ahmedabad.

The stage is set for the biggest match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Team India, who are favorites to win the tournament, will lock horns with their biggest rivals, Pakistan, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Everyone is excited for another episode of this epic rivalry. The last time these two teams played on a World Cup (T20 World Cup 2022) stage was in Australia at the MCG in front of 90,000 fans.

However, this time it will be even bigger, with around 130,000 spectators available in the stadium. However, to make it even grander, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to showcase a musical show ahead of the IND vs PAK clash in Ahmedabad. On Friday, the BCCI also revealed a star-studded list of artists who will be performing during the musical event called "Musical Odyssey."

Arijit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh and Shankar Mahadevan to perform in Pre-match ceremony of the IND vs PAK clash

The IND vs PAK clash is more than just a game for fans across borders. These two teams have always lived up to expectations, which is why the stakes are very high for the coming game and everyone is eagerly waiting for it. Though India have dominated Pakistan in World Cup games and won all seven matches, in recent years, Pakistan have shown a great fight. To make it even more interesting, some big names will be present in the pre-match ceremony.

Renowned Bollywood singers Arijit Singh and Sukhwinder Singh will perform at the event. The BCCI announced it on Twitter (now X) with a series of posts. Notably, Arijit also performed in the opening ceremony of the IPL 2023. Along with them, singer-and-composer Shankar Mahadevan will also be live at the event. Mahadevan was the director and composer of the official anthem for the ICC World Cup 2011.
