Pooja Vastrakar deleted her “Vasooli Titans’ Instagram story after it went viral on social media.

Indian women’s cricketer Pooja Vastrakar shared a story on Instagram titled ‘Vasooli Titans,’ mocking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) President J.P. Nadda and other party leaders on March 29. However, Vastrakar deleted her story soon after it started flooding across social media. 

The interesting thing about this controversial story was the timing and nature. It comes after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for a liquor policy scam.

Another aspect of Vastrakar’s story is that it came after Delhi CM Kejriwal’s statement in court, where he alleged that Modi’s BJP was involved in an extortion racket through electoral bonds to evade scrutiny by central agencies.

Who is Indian cricketer Pooja Vastrakar?

The young all-rounder Vastrakar hails from Madhya Pradesh. The 24-year-old cricketer was born on September 25, 1999. She is a right-arm medium pacer and a right-handed batter.

She made her ODI and T20I debuts against South Africa in 2018. The Indian all-rounder made her test debut against England at Bristol in June 2021.

The turning point of her career came at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022, as she emerged as a key player for the Indian side. Vastrakar contributed significantly with both bat and ball. She scored 156 runs, averaging 26.00 with the bat. With the ball, the Indian all-rounder took took 10 wickets, averaging 18.30, in the tournament.
