Brazil at FIFA World Cup 2022: Group, Schedule & Results
The nation have won the competition a record five times
Brazil are the only national team in World Cup history to have had the best overall performance. Both in percentage and relative terms, with 73 wins in 109 matches and 124 goals scored while losing 18 times.
Moreover they are the only country that has never missed a World Cup or appeared in any playoff games.
And the only country to have won the World Cup in four different continents. First, Europe (Sweden in 1958), then South America (1962 Chile), North America (Mexico in 1970), the United States (1992), and Asia (Korea and Japan) (2002).
They also produced the legendary Pele, the youngest player in World Cup history to score a goal and win the trophy.
Tite has picked his 26-man ready to demonstrate their character.
My fans were surprised when Tite disclosed the squad, as many argued why Firmino, who has been in excellent shape at Liverpool, was not selected, instead opting for Gabriel Jesus, who has struggled for goals.

However, this would still remain the reality that Brazil have a solid team with considerable depth, and each player has unique characteristics that will enable the nation to overcome many tough challenges.
Although how Tite deploys them will be examined, as many players play in familiar positions and can work efficiently in their favoured position.
Brazil finished first in qualification.
With Brazil have not won the World Cup since 2002 and were the last South American country to accomplish this feat. Since then, they have reached the quarter-finals in 2006, 2010, and 2018, and the semi-finals in 2014, when they staged the event.
Brazil had a simple path to qualification this time. Finishing first in the standings with no losses and six points ahead of second-place Argentina with 14 victories and two ties in 17 matches.
This will be the perfect time to lift the coveted cup. As they are stocked with world-class players and are seen favourites to go all the way and claim football's most desired prize.
Brazil are seeded in Group G.
Brazil are in Group G, including Switzerland, which defeated France in Euro 2020, and the other two are Serbia and Cameroon.
Serbia, with the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Dusan Tadic, could be underdogs, and Brazil should not become complacent. Otherwise, this tournament will turn out to be a sorry affair.
They can easily anticipate their chances in Group if they play in terrific tandem and all players have a winning mentality.
