In the last game, Messi debuted in the MLS after getting substituted in the 60-minute mark. He added to the team tally in the 89′ minute where they faced NY Red Bulls away from home. The games ended two to nil in favour of Messi’s Inter Miami.

Nashville will be looking for revenge since they lost the Leagues Cup final against Inter Miami recently. After stumbling in the nail-biting penalty shootout against Inter, they were asked to travel for an away MLS game against Atlanta United. And they suffered conceding four goals without resonating a response. Now Nashville have a point to prove against the overwhelming exploits of Messi’s Inter Miami.

And with Messi’s link-up play and game-building abilities, Nashville will find it hard to handle Inter Miami after coming through from back-to-back defeats.

Sam Surridge (Nashville)

Another newcomer to Major League Soccer, Sam Surridge has been doing quite well. Even though Surridge and his teammates were off the mark against Atlanta United, the former Premier League forward has done his bit for the team. In the Leagues Cup 2023, the Englishman was handed four appearances which he grabbed quite well. Scoring thrice while also assisting twice. Nashville will rely on the former Nottingham Forest striker to do the damage when given the chance.
