Approach towards the game

When asked about their approach for the game against India, Carlos Queiroz replied, “Our approach is one of utmost humility, as we recognize that we are facing a formidable opponent. However, it is also characterized by a resolute courage and an adventurous spirit. Without these qualities, we would be incapable of playing with intention, adopting a positive style of football, launching attacking moves and ultimately securing victory.”

“Thus, our approach is founded upon respect, while simultaneously empowering us to play our brand of football with calculated decisions, dynamic movements, and assertiveness in both tackling and marking. We embrace this approach wholeheartedly, always playing with an unwavering goal in mind, to emerge triumphant at the final whistle” he added.

Improvement in India’s game

No doubt, India is progressively enhancing its performance in football and has also attained a multitude of accolades in recent years. Carlos Queiroz also praised India’s game as he said, “The team is in a commendable state, displaying remarkable cohesion and organization. Each player possesses a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities, fostering seamless communication and cooperation among them. This profound synergy serves as a testament to the team’s evolution.”

“Comparing it to my experience playing here a few years ago, where we comprised a mere collection of talented individuals, the transformation into a unified unit is evident. Now, when facing this team on the pitch, opponents encounter formidable challenges due to the team’s strategic prowess” captain Al Haydos added.

Prior experience of playing in India

Qatar’s captain, Hassan Al Haydos, has previously competed against India on their home ground. His extensive experience will undoubtedly serve as a crucial asset for the Qatar team as they prepare to face India tomorrow.

“Yes, I have previously competed against India, however, each match is unique. This upcoming game holds great significance for both teams. With optimism, we aim to showcase our true potential and secure the three points”, Hasan stated.
