Jurgen Klopp keen to add Donyell Malen to Liverpool’s front line in January 2024

Donyell Malen has been in good form with five goals this season
According to sources, Liverpool are still pursuing Donyell Malen, the winger for Borussia Dortmund, and they are continuing to keep tabs on his new agency’s position.
Malen has long been admired by Liverpool, and there have been rumours that they may be planning a fresh move for him. Theoretically, he might eventually replace Mohamed Salah on the right wing, but he can play on either flank.
Bild said in a statement on Tuesday that Malen continues to be on Liverpool’s shortlist. It’s said that the coach Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the Netherlands.
Interestingly, Rafaela Pimenta, who inherited the majority of the late Mino Raiola’s clientele, previously took care of Malen before adding him to the SEG agency’s roster on Monday.
Malen’s switch of representatives seems likely to portend a future move, which Liverpool would prefer not to lose out on.

Additionally, SEG arranged for Cody Gakpo to transfer to Liverpool in January 2023, so they already possess connections there that might aid in future talks.
Borussia Dortmund has a contract with Malen that expires in 2026, but they might be preparing for interest in his services.
Malen has made 17 appearances in all competitions during the current season, scoring five goals. Throughout his tenure with the team, he has amassed 24 goals and 16 assists from 90 appearances.
He had previously been a player for PSV, who signed him after his last effort to succeed in England with Arsenal failed.
Malen never had the opportunity to play for Arsenal as a senior, but he is beginning to appear like a player who escaped the club and might come back to hound them.
