Alexis Mac Allister likely to feature against Crystal Palace

Alexis Mac Allister suffered an ankle injury vs Sheffield United
Alexis Mac Allister has stated that he hopes to fully recover from the injury he suffered on Wednesday night during Liverpool’s 2-0 victory against Sheffield United.
There were concerns that the Argentine midfielder’s evening would end after just five minutes of play after he was knocked down and needed medical attention following a hit to his ankle in the first half.

The World Cup winner’s early departure alarmed Liverpool supporters, but the 24-year-old has since played off concerns over a protracted layoff.

On Mac Allister’s injury setback, Klopp added: “It was a shame early he got stepped on the knee, it’s a cut. As long as the wound was open, we just strapped it, it was painful and he could play, then we stitched it and it got a bit tighter there and he couldn’t move anymore.
“We have to see how long that will take. I hope not too long.”
