Leave Juventus? No, I always wanted to stay: Dusan Vlahovic
Dusan Vlahovic was a top transfer target in the summer
Dusan Vlahovic declares that he is delighted to have stayed at Juventus and that he never intended to leave. It fulfilled my desire.
The Serbian international was said to be leaving Turin in the summer, and several Italian media outlets claimed Chelsea were eager to sign him.
The 23-year-old has quietly begun to regain his form despite the rumours, scoring against Inter in the Derby D’Italia last weekend. He discussed this in a long conversation with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Following 71 days of inactivity, Vlahovic è resumed his scoring career. He accomplished it against Inter, the Scudetto favourite.

A crucial objective for the group, but also a chance to regain some peace of mind following a really trying time. The Serbian now wants to keep improving in order to persuade even his doubters that he belongs as a starting centre forward at Juventus.
In fact, Vlahovic has never considered leaving Turin, despite the fact that it appeared impossible for him to stay during the previous summer:
“Leave Juventus? No, I was always sure I wanted to stay. Rumors are always there and they are part of the game, if we listen to everyone we can go crazy. I isolated myself and thought only about the field and in the end I am so happy to have stayed. It was what I wanted”, his words to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Always supported by the fans, Vlahovic’s goal is to finish among the top four in the league and give his contribution to Juventus, the team he has in his heart and that he absolutely does not want to leave:
“I still have two and a half years left on my contract, we are in no hurry forò Giuntoli and my agent are already talking. I am very happy to be here”.
