Defending champions Senegal announce squad for AFCON 2023

Senegal are looking for their second AFCON title
Aliou Cisse has announced a 27-man squad for Senegal’s AFCON 2023 campaign. They are the defending champions and aim for their second title in Ivory Coast.
Senegal are a part of Group C and one of the favourites to win the African championship. Gambia, Guinea and Cameroon are tied along with them in the group.
Some of the biggest names in world football play for Senegal. The likes of Sadio Mane, Nicolas Jackson, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly and a few others have played for some of the biggest clubs in the world. These superstars have made it to the final 27 and will aim to take their side to glory.
Salernitana forward Boulaye Dia and Everton midfielder Iddrissa Gana Gueye picked up knocks in league games for their clubs over the weekend. Luckily they have made it to the squad and will represent their nation at the top level.
