Jobe Bellingham is the younger brother of Jude Bellingham

Before Jobe Bellingham joined Sunderland, Newcastle United allegedly had a conversation with his family about acquiring him, and they are still monitoring him.

The midfielder’s development at Birmingham City was followed, and the Daily Mail claims that the Magpies were keen to recruit him to their young ranks. However, Bellingham, whose sibling Jude is a player for Real Madrid, was searching for a move that would guarantee him a place in the starting lineup.

Newcastle have reportedly “continued to watch Bellingham this season” and, considering Sunderland’s policy of nurturing young players before moving them on, could make a fresh attempt to sign him this year.

After spending an astounding £1.5 million to sign the young talent, Sunderland has made him one of the Black Cats’ most important players.

This season, he has participated in 25 Championship games and scored four goals. Many Premier League sides have an appetite for him, so if the Black Cats choose to part with him, they will profit handsomely.

Bellingham is reportedly very reluctant to leave Sunderland during the season as they attempt to qualify for the playoffs, but they will probably lose him afterwards summer if they are unsuccessful in making the playoffs. Bellingham is being pursued by Chelsea and Real Madrid, who believe he has the potential to be a premier player.

As it occurs, Bellingham will take on Newcastle United shortly after they host Sunderland at the City of Light on Saturday, January 6, in the FA Cup third round.

It’s important to note, nevertheless, that when Bellingham switched from Birmingham to Sunderland, the Magpies reportedly attempted to persuade him to sign.

Bellingham has the chance to put Howe under greater stress given Newcastle’s dismal recent performance.

Due to the Magpies’ terrible away performance, a loss at the Stadium of Light is a genuine possibility.

Newcastle was seven points behind the top four teams of the Premier League while remaining in the Champions League when the Tyne-Wear rivalry was scheduled for the FA Cup’s third round.
