With a win already in the bag, the Herons are heading to LA Galaxy’s home

Unlike Inter Miami, this game will kickstart the 2024 Major League Soccer season for LA Galaxy. In the 2023 season, Galaxy conceded the highest number of goals in the entire division across the regular season. Even though they enjoyed great possession their leaky defence conceded 67 goals in total. Head coach Greg Vanney would like to address all problems in his fourth season at the helm.

Inter Miami have already played their first game against Real Salt Lake in the 2024 regular MLS season which was at home. It was played out at the newly renamed stadium – Chase Stadium after JPMorgan Chase took over the naming rights. The Herons won the game blissfully with a 2-0 scoreline which also happens to kickstart Lionel Messi‘s first full season in the United States.

Yes, we all know, it had to be Lionel Messi here but guess what there’s a new man on the block beside him. Messi’s former FC Barcelona teammate made his presence felt in the opening game. Luis Suarez had two shots on target and is more or less likely to score in this one. Suárez has already managed an assist in his first MLS appearance.
