About the player
Hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal, Subha Ghosh is an academy product of Mohun Bagan. After spending the earliest days of his football career there, he earned a promotion to the Mariners’ senior team who were then playing in the I-League. He won the league title with them in the 2019-20 season and afterwards signed with ATK Mohun Bagan.
The forward scored three goals in eight appearances in I-League 2019-20. However, he did not get any action in the ISL following his ATKMB move. This, in turn, led him to join Kerala Blasters in January 2021.
Ahead of the 2021-22 ISL season, the 21-year-old got the call-up to be a part of the KBFC pre-season squad. He featured in some friendlies for the Yellow Army, before getting loaned to SC East Bengal. He was also named a part of the Red & Gold's 33-man squad for the league. However, he did not get any chances with them and will now look to start a fresh chapter in his career with Rajasthan United.
