3. Ethyan Gonzalez (NorthEast United FC)
Another name joining NorthEast United FC is full of potential. Ethyan Gonzalez at just 24-years of age has made a move to the Highlands, the 1.85-metre right-footed striker joins them on a one-year deal until the end of the 2026-27 season, with an option to extend by a further year.
His experience of playing early in multiple clubs is a key. Ethyan’s senior debut came in August 2021 in a 2-1 Segunda División victory over CF Fuenlabrada before spending the 2022-23 season on loan at Atlético Madrid B, continuing his development in one of Spain’s elite football environments and also being part of the pre-season with players like Koke, Oblak etc. He later moved on from Spain and continued his football in Qatar.

2. Eneko Satrustegui (NorthEast United FC)
This list involves another NorthEast United FC player. Eneko Satrustegui joins the Highlanders on a one-year deal keeping him at the club until the end of 2026-27 season. The 35-years-old centre-back brings immense experience of playing in Spain and being part of the top tier LaLiga as well.
A product of CA Osasuna, Satrustegui made his top-flight football debut in La Liga at the Santiago Bernabéu against Real Madrid, featuring against players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso etc. He also has played against multiple more big names in LaLiga like Griezmann, Godin etc.
