ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 22, FC Goa vs NorthEast United FC
The Gaurs and the Highlanders played out an end-to-end nail-biter.
Friday’s Indian Super League (ISL) clash saw NorthEast United FC and FC Goa share the spoils in a six-goal thriller. The Highlanders started strong and found the back of the net early in the game with Nestor Albiach skipping past all the defenders and scoring his first goal of the season. Armando Sadiku restored parity for the home side with a spot kick in the dying minutes of the first half.
FC Goa started the second half on the right note and took a lead with Sadiku scoring his second goal of the night. Nestor brought things back on level terms a few minutes later before Alaeddine Ajaraie put NorthEast United in the lead. Borja Herrera scored a late equaliser and secured a point for FC Goa.

A brief look at the points table
Bengaluru FC continues to sit at the top of the ISL table with three wins and a draw in four games. Punjab FC and Jamshedpur FC continue to be in the second and third positions respectively. FC Goa and NorthEast United have jumped up to the fourth and fifth position respectively while Kerala Blasters FC have dropped down to the sixth position.
Chennaiyin FC are in the seventh position and Mohammedan SC are placed eighth. Odisha FC have come up to the ninth place while the tenth position is held by Mohun Bagan Super Giant. Mumbai City FC are placed eleventh with two points and Hyderabad FC are now ranked 12th while East Bengal continue to be at the bottom of the table.
