AIFF Super Cup 2025-2026: Updated Stadings after Bengaluru FC vs Mohammedan SC

FC Goa became the first team to qualify for Super Cup semifinals

The AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 is underway in Goa. The competition began on October 25, 2025, and will conclude with the grand final on November 22, 2025. Group stage matches are taking place at Fatorda Stadium and the GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, setting a thrilling stage under the Goan floodlights.

This season features 16 teams, divided into four groups of four. The lineup includes 13 ISL clubs and 3 I-League sides, Gokulam Kerala, Rajasthan United, and Dempo SC. Dempo SC joined the competition as a replacement for Real Kashmir, who withdrew due to financial difficulties.

Only group winners advance to the semifinals, which makes every point and every goal crucial in this year’s tournament. That being said, let us take a look at the standings of the four Groups in the Super Cup.

Group A

Teams in Group A

  • East Bengal FC
  • Mohun Bagan Super Giant
  • Dempo SC (replacement for Real Kashmir)
  • Chennaiyin FC

Group A is turning into a classic contest. After drawing their opener against Dempo SC, East Bengal FC bounced back strongly with a 4-0 win over Chennaiyin FC. With 4 points and a goal difference of +4, they currently top the table.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant, meanwhile, won their first match 2-0 against Chennaiyin FC but were held to a draw by Dempo SC. With an equal 4 points but a +2 goal difference, they sit second in the standings.

Dempo SC, competing with an all-Indian squad, have surprised many. They’ve held both Kolkata clubs to draws and remain unbeaten with 2 points. Their performances have signalled a strong comeback for the Goan side in Indian football.

The Kolkata Derby on October 31 between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan will likely decide the group. East Bengal need only a draw to progress, while Mohun Bagan must win. Interestingly, Dempo SC can still qualify if they beat Chennaiyin FC by five goals, provided the derby ends goalless.
