Indian Player Ratings: Seiminlen Doungel and Jerry Mawihmingthanga shine, Bikash Jairu disappoints
The hosts recorded their third loss of the season, which is also the same number of matches won by the visiting side.
One more fixture ticked off the list, and Kerala Blasters haven't yet recorded a home win this season. The side has been under pressure to deliver results and made their intentions clear right from the start yesterday, in their ISL fixture against Jamshedpur. The hosts dominated the play for the most part in the first half and were unlucky not to have scored the opener in Kochi as Sahal's shot hit the post while Len Doungel's attempt was cleared off the line.
However, against the run of the play, it was Jamshedpur FC who took the lead in the second half as Dheeraj Singh conceded a penalty. Calvo converted from the spot, but Kerala responded to it sharply as Len Doungel pulled one back for Kerala. Both sides had chances to put the game to bed but failed to effectively utilize their opportunities.
#KERJAM was a hard-fought battle with plenty of drama and action taking centre-stage, but proceedings ended level between @KeralaBlasters and @JamshedpurFC. More videos: https://t.co/8jtqJIjojH#ISLRecap #LetsFootball #HeroISL #FanBannaPadega pic.twitter.com/RoVmDL22Lf

Watch: Kerala 1-1 Jamshedpur, Goals and Highlights
Here are the ratings of Indian players from the fixture:
Kerala Blasters
Dheeraj Singh - 7
Could have been @JamshedpurFC's winner, but @dhee_singh01 had other plans!#HeroISL #ISLMoments #LetsFootball #KERJAM #FanBannaPadega pic.twitter.com/iDnXDm4yGv

The youngster has improved a lot ever since his ISL debut
He fouled Tim Cahill which resulted in a Jamshedpur FC penalty. He jumped in the right direction but Calvo's shot was too powerful. The youngster made a couple of good saves to deny Jamshedpur FC from finding the winner. He pulled off an absolutely magnificent save in the last minute from a strong Mario header.
Sandesh Jhingan - 5
Jhingan returned to the starting lineup and was employed as a right-back by David James. In a game dominated by Kerala Blasters, Jhingan only had little to do defensively.
From an attacking perspective, Sandesh Jhingan showed aggressiveness but his crosses did not yield the desired result. Made a wonderful clearance in injury time to prevent Calvo from finding the winner for Jamshedpur.
Anas Edathodika - 5
A commanding performance by this Indian International. However, he must have done better to avoid the occasion when Dheeraj Singh fouled Tim Cahill. He did some good interceptions and clearance throughout the game.
With Nikola Krcmareivc injured and unable to play, Zakeer played the defensive midfielder role for Kerala Blasters. The Kerala-born player showed determination and discipline, delivering a decent performance for the Blasters.

Samad put in a commanding display for the hosts
Not an all-perfect display from Sahal, but one that Kerala Blasters desperately needed. He commanded the play for Kerala Blasters, showing class and determination. He should have scored Kerala Blasters' first goal of the game but his shot hit the post.
Len Doungel - 8
Another goal-line clearance off @Seiminlen_9 and this time, it's @Tim_Cahill!Watch it LIVE on Hotstar: https://t.co/BaCVdpi5hsJioTV users can watch it LIVE on the app.#HeroISL #ISLMoments #LetsFootball #KERJAM #FanBannaPadega pic.twitter.com/vZ37bcNLc3

Doungel could have added another goal to his tally
Was active and threatening throughout the game, and looked dangerous and deservedly scored Kerala's only goal of the game. He had two shots cleared off the line before he restored parity for Kerala in the second half.
An average performance from this former Northeast United FC attacker. Got the better of his marker on a few occasions and produced some chances, but a goal did not come.
Substitutes
CK Vineeth - 4
Came off the bench for Holicharan Narzary and showed intent. Had a chance to score a goal in injury time, but his shot was too weak.

Jamshedpur FC
Subrata Pal - 6
He was not tested much until Kerala's first goal. A defensive lapse from a Jamshedpur FC defender saw Pal concede the goal. Some of his decisions created chaos inside his own box, but Kerala Blasters' attackers' attempts were cleared off the line. Otherwise, he was good.
Robin Gurung - 4
Had a tough game handling the pacey Kerala Blasters attackers. They got the better of him on numerous occasions.
Bikash Jairu - 5
A substandard performance from Bikash Jairu. While he could not contribute much to Jamshedpur FC's attack, his defending left a lot to be desired as Kerala Blasters came all guns blazing.
Malsawmzuala - 5
The debutant had a debut to forget. The youngster did some defensive duties, but on an attacking perspective, he was not brilliant for the visitors. With Sahal and Co. dictating the tempo, he was struggling to stamp his authority in midfield.
Mohammad Mubashir - 4
A frustrating night for Mubashir. Could not make the difference for Jamshedpur FC and was overshadowed by the brilliant performance of Kerala Blasters midfielders.
Was substituted even before he could make an impact, in the 13th minute after he suffered an injury.

Jerry almost scored a very important goal for Jamshedpur
He replaced an injured Soosairaj in the first half. He was excellent with his pace and almost scored a goal for his side, but couldn't get the angle. He was one of the most energetic players in the field.
Pratik Chowdhary - 6
Came in the second half. Held his fort strong and was not at fault when Len Doungel equaled the cards for Kerala Blasters. He looked tough to beat and prevented a Kerala side from registering their first victory at home.

Came off the bench and replaced debutant Malsawmzuala. Could not do much to help Jamshedpur FC earn a victory away from home.
