ISL: All transfers completed so far ahead of 2023-24 season
The teams look to build a strong contingent for the new ISL season.
The 2023-24 ISL season is on the horizon, with most of the teams taking shape, and beginning their pre-season training. In the last few weeks, there has also been a lot of traffic in the Indian transfer market, as the teams try to rope in their targets, and bid adieu to old servants.
A lot of teams have so far been able to make some hefty transfers, which have made the headlines in the Indian footballing fraternity. Others have chosen to invest in young quality players. Due to this incredible activity in the market, it is very hard to keep track of whatever is going on.
So today, we have prepared a list of all the transfers that have been completed so far (as of 22nd july), including the arrivals of new players, and the departure of old ones.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant
Mohun Bagan have been the heavy hitters of summer. The Mariners look towards a successful season at the Salt Lake, as they have already made some big moves so far. They have also roped in three of Indian football’s brightest talents, who are all highly regarded as the future of Indian football.

Chennaiyin FC
After a disappointing 2022-23 ISL season, Chennaiyin FC have undergone a complete revamp, and have bid farewell to a total of 10 players so far. On the other hand, the Marina Machans have also made seven signings. Also, they have appointed their former boss Owen Coyle as their manager for the upcoming season.

NorthEast United FC
After letting go over half of their squad inside a period of two weeks, NEUFC have started to make some positive moves in the market. Although the club has only made five signings so far, the quality that these players possess is a clear indication of things going in the right direction.

Kerala Blasters enjoyed a pretty decent 2022-23 ISL season, as the club performed exceptionally well in the league. The Blasters will look to carry that form into the new season as well. They have already made new signings to further bolster their squad.

Jamshedpur FC
Jamshedpur FC have made only two signings so far in the summer transfer window. As for their departures, the club has parted ways with eight players, including the majority of their foreign contingent.

The latest ISL Shield winners - Mumbai City FC had an exceptional campaign last season, and will be looking to replicate it all over again this time around. The Islanders parted ways with a number of players, but have replaced them with top-notch talents.

New ISL entrants Punjab FC are all set to begin their top-flight journey. The club has retained a number of its star players from last season, and has bid adieu to four players thus far. No signings have been made by them so far.
