Inter confirm Diego Godin transfer

Godin, 33, announced in May he would be leaving Atletico after nine seasons with the LaLiga giants. Godin joins an Inter side looking to rebuild under Antonio Conte, having finished fourth in Serie A last season and 21 points behind champions Juventus.
"I had a lot of enthusiasm and desire to move forward, but we did not succeed,” Godin said to Goal.
La Liga president does not want Neymar back because of his behaviour
La Liga president Javier Tebas is not impressed with Neymar's off the field antics."I prefer that Neymar does not return to Barca," Tebas told radio station Onda Cero.
"We always want to bring great players, but in the case of Neymar that behaviour is not good for the competition because in the end the news is if the player has done this or that.
Since joining PSG in 2017, Neymar has been under serious scrutiny for his social media activities and controversies, with the latest coming after PSG's loss against Manchester United in March this year.
Antoine Griezmann to cost €80m less now
Originally it was believed that the contract, which runs until 2023, contained a rather hefty release clause of €200 million (£171 million).

It has now been revealed by Spanish football website as.com that due to an agreement made during the negotiation process the clause will drop to the relatively bargain price of €120 million.
Aaron Ramsey officially signs for Juventus

The Welsh midfielder took to social media to announce his arrival at Juventus. Aaron had agreed to sign for the Turin based club in the winter transfer window earlier this year.
Derby County excuse Frank Lampard
Derby have given Frank Lampard permission to miss the club's return to pre-season training as he continues talks with Chelsea regarding the vacant manager's job.
Chelsea were granted permission to speak to former player Lampard last week as the club look to replace Maurizio Sarri after the Italian returned to his homeland with Juventus.
Sky sources understand Chelsea have told Derby they are prepared to pay the £4m compensation clause in Lampard's contract.
Another free midfielder for Juventus

The former PSG midfielder joins Juventus on a free transfer and becomes another player in the long list of Juve's free transfers.
Marcus Rashford pens deal until 2023
The official statement read, "Manchester United is delighted to announce that Marcus Rashford has signed a new contract, which will keep him at the club until June 2023, with the option to extend for a further year."
“Manchester United has been everything in my life since I arrived here at the age of seven. This club has shaped me, both as a player and as a person, so it is such a privilege every time I get the opportunity to wear the shirt," said Marcus Rashford.
Rashford has scored 45 goals in 170 appearances for the Red Devils.

Eriksen still targeted by Real Madrid
Real Madrid want to sign Christian Eriksen - but only if they fail in deals for Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek, according to the Daily Express.
