When will Yves Bissouma be back for Tottenham from AFCON 2023?

Yves Bissouma has become one of the important midfielders for Postecoglou
Yves Bissouma, a midfielder for Spurs, will not be playing for the North London team since he is travelling with Mali for international service.
Despite having several injuries on the team, Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur have been among the most impressive teams in the Premier League this season. However, Tottenham will suffer greatly when the AFCON 2023 kicks off in the latter part of the English season since they will be without midfielder Bissouma, who is playing for Mali.
The number of games the former midfielder for Brighton and Lille will be unable to play for Spurs while on international service is examined by GOAL.
How many contests is Bissouma going to miss?
From January 13, 2023, until February 12, 2024, Tottenham Hotspur will participate in many matches in the Africa Cup of Nations 2023.
Since Son Heung-Min is playing in the Asian Cup and James Madison is recovering from an injury, Bissouma’s unavailability could negatively impact Tottenham’s results. Bissouma has been a vital component in the team’s engine room.

Many things could influence Bissouma’s time away from England, but Mali’s AFCON performance is the main one to watch. Due to his international obligations, the 27-year-old previously missed Spurs’ FA Cup victory over Burnley led by Vincent Kompany.
Bissouma is expected to miss four matches in the Premier League and one FA Cup match if Mali advances to the finals; however, if his country is eliminated in the group phases, the midfield player will only miss the matchup with Manchester United and the FA Cup’s fourth phase match.
Worst-case possibility for Spurs: Should Mali advance to the competition’s finals, Postecoglou’s team may be without their main midfield player for several Premier League games.
Mali may miss Brentford’s and Brighton’s trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as well as his team’s matchup with Everton if he advances to the elimination stages and the championship round.
