Arsenal are hit with another injury blow to a star player.

Arsenal suffered a major injury blow after their ace Bukayo Saka limped off in Englandā€™s 2-1 defeat against Greece. Saka was replaced in the second half as the Three Lions failed to produce many goalscoring chances.

It was a poor outing from the Three Lions as they looked like a woeful side despite looking strong on paper. The players toiled to find the equaliser. Greece were solid at the back and managed to keep England at bay until the final whistle.

Not only did they lose the game they also lost their decisive player with an injury. Three players ā€“ Kobbie Mainoo, Morgan Gibbs-White and Ezri Konsa, had already pulled out from the squad before their match against Greece due to injuries.

It appears Saka has suffered a hamstring injury. The scans will reveal the injuryā€™s severity and how many games he is set to miss for Arsenal.

Saka is now expected to miss Englandā€™s second UEFA Nations League game against Finland.

This is a big blow for the Gunners coach Mikel Arteta after the manager lost Martin Odegaard to an ankle injury in Septemberā€™s Nations League matches and now could lose Saka with an injury.

When Englandā€™s interim head coach was about Sakaā€™s injury extent, Lee Carsley said: ā€œHeā€™s being assessed. Obviously in the build-up to the first goal, you could see he felt something in his legā€.

The Gunners are third in the Premier League table. They will hope that Sakaā€™s injury isnā€™t serious and that the player will return before the end of the international break. Arsenal will face Bournemouth in their next Premier League clash.

The 23-year-old has been key for Artetaā€™s side this season. Saka has produced three goals and seven assists in 10 matches for the Gunners across all competitions.
