The midfielder suffered a fractured toe vs Bayern Munich

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni will not take part in the UEFA Champions League final versus Borussia Dortmund because of a persistent injury, according to reporter Jose Felix Diaz of MARCA.

The injury he got in an encounter against Bayern Munich has kept him out of action since early May, despite his best attempts to recuperate.

The midfield player’s primary goal at the moment is to be fit for the Euro Cup. Despite being included in the tournament’s 25-man roster, coach Didier Deschamps will ultimately determine whether or not he plays.

To hasten his healing from a shattered bone, Tchouameni has sought multiple medical opinions. He even flew to the United States to see a physician who verified the injury and provided an estimated recovery time.

It is impossible to hasten the healing process of a broken bone, particularly in a high-stress area.

It’s interesting to note that Tchouameni has sustained two injuries from wear and tear as opposed to direct impacts. His last injury, which happened on October 28 during a game against Barcelona, was distinct and prevented him from playing until December 17—a span of 50 days.

If he had to recuperate the same length of time now, he would probably miss the Euro Cup. Eduardo Camavinga will start against Borussia Dortmund as a midfielder in Tchouameni’s unavailability.

Despite being less positional than Tchouameni, Camavinga has more potential to advance the ball because of his vertical playmaking ability to get beyond defensive lines.

Tchouameni was guaranteed a starting spot for Real Madrid in either the midfield or defence before his injury. Due to the numerous injuries this season, he has played defence frequently, but it is not his favoured position.

It goes without saying that Real Madrid is greatly hurt by Tchouameni’s absence, but they are still optimistic about his potential contributions in the future if he fully recovers.
