The visitors are likely to secure a comfortable win over the hosts.

It’s a 2026 FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers group stage match number four of ten between Uganda and Algeria. Despite having the same points, Algeria is at the top of the table in Group G, whereas Uganda stands in 3rd position. Goal difference acts as the differentiator between both teams right now.

This will be a crucial match for both teams, as it will somehow consolidate their position for the later matches. Both teams have played plenty of matches this year, as they both reached the group stage matches of 2023 the Africa Cup of Nations.

The last time these two teams met was back in June 2023 in the qualifiers of the AFCONs. That game was won by Algeria. Uganda’s performance in their last few matches have been consistent, as they got positive results, whereas Algeria gave a mixed performance.

As of now, there is a clear distinction in both teams, as Algeria stand way ahead of Uganda. If we talk about their FIFA rankings then the host stands at 92nd position whereas Algeria, their opponent, are at 43rd.
