Title Update 1.0.2 release
The latest Title Update 1.0.2 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on April 8, 2025, at 2 PM UTC (7:30 PM IST).
The patch size for different platforms is 11.59 GB on PS5, 19.5 GB on Xbox Series X|S, 16.05 GB on PC (Windows), and 9 GB on macOS.
AC Shadows has already sold over 3 million copies in its first week, proving to be one of the best launches of this year. Fans are pretty excited about the new update as well.

Key improvements in AC Shadows update 1.0.2
Horse Navigation Upgrades
One of the best things they have done is to improve the horse riding feature by adding an Auto-Follow feature.
Just by activating the pathfinder, your horse will move automatically towards the marked location in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Even the riding speed has been improved in the cities, which will make your travels faster in the Feudal Japan.
Reset Mastery Nodes for Naoe and Yasuke
Players can now easily reset the mastery nodes for Naoe and Yasuke. This way, you can play the character with different playstyles.
Sell and Dismantle Multiple Items
The new update will allow the players to tag and sell or dismantle multiple items at the forge or shops to make things easier.
PS5 Pro Enhancements
PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) support feature has been added and more improved quality and performance options will be available for the PS5 Pro players.
Other Notable Changes
- Hideout FPS Uncapped: A bug that caused frame rate dips has been fixed, allowing Performance Mode to surpass 30 frames per second in the Hideout.
- Balanced Boss Fights: Boss encounters have been rebalanced for a more equitable challenge.
- Naoe’s Kunai Perk Fix: Inconsistencies with the “Throw a Kunai at the closest enemy after an assassination” perk when using The Tool Master Gear have been fixed.
- Improved Double Assassinations: Naoe animations are now smoother and more dependable, and in some situations, Naoe responsiveness has improved.
