Call of Duty Black Ops 6 season 3 is just around the corner and the roadmap for the upcoming season has been revealed. The new season will drop on April 2, 2025, introducing five new multiplayer maps plus a Nuketown twist, classic modes with a fresh spin, new perks, a killer score streak and revamped Ranked Play features.

In this article, we will talk about all the new features and content that we are going to get in the new COD season 3.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 3 maps

Now, Season 3 is going to introduce us to five originals and a mid-season Nuketown remix:

• Barrage: A medium-sized 6v6 Core map set in 1968 Vietnam, with lush jungles and tight firefights.
• Nomad: A modest 6v6/2v2 Strike map that transports you to the remains of an ancient stronghold.
• Firing Range: The fan-favorite from Black Ops 4 (2018) has returned, remastered for 6v6 Core chaos—last seen six years ago, it’s back with a glow!
• Haven (Mid-Season): A 6v6 Core map in a 1991 KGB safehouse with cloak-and-dagger themes.
• Signal (Mid-Season): A 6v6/2v2 Strike map spanning submarine bays and an ocean rig’s control room.
• Blazetown (Mid-Season): A limited-time Nuketown variant, expect a scorching take on the original.

The official leakers have confirmed this list of maps, which are expected to drop on April 2 or April 15, 2025.

New Multiplayer Modes

There will be some time-limited events and we will be getting two returning modes as well in Call of Duty Black Ops 6:

• Sharpshooter is a free-for-all party mode in which everyone uses the same loadout, rotating between primary, secondary weapons, melee, and gear every 45 seconds. It’s anarchy with a twist!
• Demolition: Attackers and defenders battle over two bomb locations. Blow a bomb, get a time bonus—everyone spawns with explosives, and respawns keep the pace up.
• Joint Operators (LTM): A series of five Core variants—Head Stash (TDM), Inhalation (Domination), Hotbox (Hardpoint), Very High Target (HVT), and Munchies (Kill Confirmed)—enhanced with double health, low gravity, hallucinations, and third-person perspective.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 3 Perks and Scorestreak

• Close Shave (Enforcer Perk): Transforms your weapon bash into a devastating melee strike, ideal for close combat. Available on Day 1.
• Vendetta (Recon Perk, Mid-Season): Respawn with your killer’s last location indicated; avenge them for bonus points.
• Death Machine (Scorestreak): A powerful minigun with quick fire and large magazines—unleash it at 1,200 Score (according to leaks).

Ranked play changes in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 3

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 3 is going to get more competitive with the new changes:

• SR Boost: Win matches to increase your Skill Ratings (SR), get Rank Skins, and win Challenge prizes.
• Anti-Cheat Fix: Retroactive SR Adjustments Refund Losses to Banned Cheaters—Justice served!
• Rejoin Window: Disconnecting in the middle of a match? Get back in within 5 minutes to preserve your SR.
