Charlie Cox joins Clair Obscur Expedition 33 voice cast as Gustave

The upcoming turn-based RPG from Sandfall Interactive, Clair Obscur Expedition 33, is making waves as it gets closer to its launch.
Recently, they revealed the voice cast for the game and our favourite Daredevil, Charlie Cox, has joined the cast as Gustave.
Other Hollywood heavyweights and seasoned video game voice actors have also joined the voice cast for the game. Let’s check out more details in this article.

The voice cast for the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is mixed between talent from the TV, film and gaming industries. Here is the full confirmed list of voice actors:
Charlie Cox as Gustave
Charlie Cox is going to voice Gustave, a resourceful engineer from Lumière determined to defeat the Paintress. He is also one of the main protagonists of the game.
Charlie is famous for his superhero role as Daredevil and this also marks his first major role in video game voice-acting. Fans can watch his ongoing Daredevil Born Again series on Disney Hotstar.

Jennifer English as Maelle
Maelle, who can be considered as the shy loner type character in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is voiced by Jennifer English.
Her most famous role could be considered Shadowheart from Baldur’s Gate 3. She has also worked as Latenna in Elden Ring and Quinn in Divine Intervention.
Kirsty Rider as Lune
Kirsty Rider is going to play the role of Lune, who is a scholarly mage determined to solve the mystery of Paintress’s mystery.
She voiced Honk in the 2007 animated series Space Pirates and portrayed Emanuela in Netflix’s The Sandman series.
Shala Nyx as Sciel
Sciel, a cheerful warrior with a tragic past, is going to be voiced by Shala Nyx. Her previous roles include Gita in The Old Guard and Farida Nazeri in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
Andy Serkis as Renoir
Legendary motion-capture and voice actor Andy Serkis plays Renoir, a desperate father who will do anything to rescue his family.
Serkis’s roles as Caesar in the Planet of the Apes series, Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Snoke in the Star Wars sequel trilogy have made him famous.
Ben Starr as Verso
Ben Starr will be voicing Verso, who is a mysterious outsider tracking the Expedition. Ben’s major role could be considered as Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI.
He recently also voiced Khazan in The First Berserker: Khazan, a newly released soulslike game that is considered pretty good.
Rich Keeble as Monoco
Rich Keeble will be voicing Monoco, a bloodthirsty Gestral creature who joins the team for the pure combat.
He is well-known for his roles as a Board Member in Split Fiction, Toby in Ghosts, and Brian Hetherington in the television series Rivals (2024).
Maxence Cazorla as Esquie
Maxence Cazorla voices Esquie, who is a mythical creature from Lumière’s legends. Maxence is known for his role in the French series Ineffable and has also voiced in many animation projects.
Tracy Wiles – Character TBA
Another Baldur’s Gate 3 voice actor, Tracy Wiles, will be joining the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 voice cast. For now, her character has not been revealed yet.
Devora Wilde – Character TBA
Although her role is still unknown, Devora Wilde is a member of the cast. Her most well-known roles include those of Agrica in Metaphor: ReFantazio, Lae’zel in Baldur’s Gate 3, and Nika Yankovich in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
