The Unicorn horse still remains the most wanted mount in the game. Hidden in Harcane Grove, this elusive monster is guarded by three powerful Minotaurs.

Where to find the Unicorn in Oblivion Remastered?

This gorgeous species resides in Harcane Grove, a lush area southeast of the Imperial City, just west of the Green Road near the Inn of Ill Omen.

To reach there fast, fast travel to the Inn of Ill Omen, then head southwest until you spot the grove’s stone circle.

You have to face three Minotaurs of the Grove. Their levels are 10, with high HP and they guard the Unicorn. Using long-range and stealth is the best option to fight them.

How to mount the Unicorn?

Pay attention to these steps:

• Sheath Your Weapons: If you or any nearby NPCs draw their weapons, the Unicorn will attack. Before approaching, make sure your weapon is sheathed (default keyboard shortcut: ‘R’ on PC).
• Sneak and Mount: To approach near, use stealth (crouch with Ctrl on PC) and press the “Use” key (E on PC). If you succeed, the Unicorn will become your mount, allowing you to move quickly.

Some important points to remember:

• The Unicorn can’t equip armor from the horse armor pack.
• If you dismount and leave it, the Unicorn will go back to Harcane Grove.
• If it’s dead, then it won’t respawn.
• Use console commands on PC (player.placeatme 0001EC58 1) to summon a new Unicorn if it dies.

Unicorn stats and behavior

• Loot Drop: Unicorn Horn (if killed).
• Abilities:
• Reflects 20% of incoming damage.
• 100% resistance to disease, paralysis, poison, and normal weapons.
• 50% magic resistance.
• Damage Types: Deals physical and magical damage.

Behavior:

It will become extremely fast and hostile if provoked. It will attack if your weapons are out or there are NPC guards, Blades members, or other horses nearby.
