Indian kabaddi players are gearing up for the Senior National Championships which is set to be held by the start of next month. Several records were broken after the successful completion of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9. Players have kept themselves occupied by playing in the state leagues and district tournaments. Indian Junior kabaddi side won the World Junior Championships defeating rivals Iran in the final.
PKL has made several players shine and attain recognition on the global stage. In this article let us look at the 3 fastest raiders to get to 100 raid points mark in PKL.
Rahul Chaudhari (9)
Rahul Chaudhari known as “showman” had a tremendous start to his Pro Kabaddi League career scoring 151 points and was the second-best raider in the inaugural season. The athlete from Uttar Pradesh started his career with Telugu Titans and got to the 100 raid points mark in his ninth match, making him the joint fastest to notch up 100 raid points.
He is one of the few raiders to cross the 1000 raid points mark and needs 61 more raid points to get to 1100 points. Only two players (Pardeep Narwal and Maninder Singh) have breached the magical mark in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League.

Siddharth Sirish Desai (9)
Rahul Chaudhari created the record (fastest to 100 raid points) in the inaugural season. Siddharth Desai equalled the record in his debut season representing U Mumba in the sixth edition of the PKL. He enjoyed a highly successful debut season and became the fastest rookie to reach 200 raid points after finishing with 218 raid points from 21 appearances.
He was also the fastest ever to 50 raid points, joint-fastest to 100 raid points and had an incredible strike rate of 89.13 in do-or-die raid attempts.

Narender Kandola (10)
Narender Kandola is the second fastest to 100 raid points and the fastest to get to 200 raid points. The 19-year-old filled in Pawan Sehrawat’s role quite comfortably scoring a Super 10 in his debut game in season 9. He was part of the gold medal-winning side at the 2nd World Junior Kabaddi Championships.
The youngster was scouted by ex-Tamil Thalaivas coach J Udhay Kumar at the Khelo India Youth Games. He was awarded the emerging player of season 9 for scoring 249 points (243 raid points and six tackle points).
