On Ayan and Devank’s performance

Star player Ayan Lohchab led the charge with an impressive 10 points, including three Tackle Points, while Devank Dalal and Sandeep added 6 and 5 points, respectively.

“When I made the team, I took Ankit, Devank, and Ayan and I believed in them. These boys have repaid the faith I have in them completely with their performance and I am very happy with the team, ” said Patna Pirates coach.

After a slow start, Patna Pirates found their rhythm as Devank Dalal and Ayan Lohchab executed effective raids, pulling key players like Balaji D and Sombir out of the match.

On the consecutive losses in PKL 11

PKL 11 saw both teams neck-and-neck in the first half, with Rakesh leading Gujarat Giants‘ raid attack. However, Patna Pirates broke the deadlock with a critical ALL OUT just before halftime, gaining a 21-16 lead.

“I have coached in PKL since season 7 and it is season 11 now, what I can say is there is some problem with the plan we are coming up with, ” said the Gujarat Giants coach.

On facing Bengal Warriorz next in PKL 11

In the second half, Patna Pirates maintained control. Ayan’s tackle on Parteek Dahiya completed a second ALL OUT, sealing the match. Despite a late Super Tackle from Gujarat’s Mohit, Patna Pirates secured a comfortable 13-point win in PKL 11. Gujarat Giants will now go to face Bengal Warriorz next in PKL 11.

“I can still hope for my team to win against Bengal because in a kabaddi match, the team which makes fewer mistakes wins. We have been making too many mistakes in our game-play and hence we are losing, especially in the defence, ” said Gujarat Giants captain Neeraj Kumar.

“We will come up with a proper plan against Bengal as well, now we have to see if it works on not, ” concluded the Gujarat Giants coach.
