Salgaocar FC’s Scottish frontman Darryl Duffy is close to agreeing a move to Mohun Bagan Khel Now understands. Duffy has been in prolific form during his three seasons with the Salgaocar FC and finished as the I-League’s second highest goalscorer in the last campaign with an impressive tally of 14. Not surprisingly, his performances have earned the attention of the Kolkata giants. According to Khel Now sources, last season’s runners-up face competition from cross-town rivals East Bengal who are also keen on the frontman’s services. But, it is learnt the Scotsman has his heart set on a move to the Mariners and is likely to pen a season-long deal soon.
