In the women's section, world number one Iga Switek will look to continue her fine run and will be up against Aryna Sabalenka and defending champion Elena Rybakina. Several high-profile players have withdrawn from the competition with the latest being Australia's Nick Krygios. Former US Open winner Marin Cilic along with Rafael Nadal are among the few to miss the coveted tournament.
