MGM Rewards Slam 2025: Schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

The exciting 2-day MGM Rewards Slam tournament features a star-studded panel, including Aryna Sabalenka.

MGM Resorts International is bringing together some of the world’s finest tennis players for an exhilarating two-day event. This much-anticipated showdown will take place on March 1 and 2 at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Mandalay Bay, right in the heart of Las Vegas.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is set to face former top-ranked Naomi Osaka in Saturday’s highly anticipated event. Sabalenka, the reigning two-time Australian Open champion, boasts 23 career titles across singles and doubles and will defend her 2024 US Open title later this year.

Meanwhile, four-time Grand Slam champion Osaka created history by winning her first two major titles at the 2018 US Open and 2019 Australian Open in a row.

Jannik Sinner, the reigning World No. 1, was initially set to compete but will miss the event due to his three-month doping ban. Stepping in as his replacement, World No. 5 Casper Ruud joins an elite field alongside World No. 2 Alexander Zverev. Completing the star-studded lineup are American standouts Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul, ranked fourth and ninth, respectively.

However, according to recent reports, Fritz’s participation also looks doubtful after the American player withdrew from the ongoing Mexican Open.

The 2024 competition was the inaugural event of the MGM Rewards Slam, previously known as the Netflix Slam. The final was played between Spanish legend Rafael Nadal and young sensation Carlos Alcaraz. The 22-time Grand Slam winner won the opening set of the exhibition match 6-3, while Alcaraz won the second set 6-4.

The onus is, therefore, on this set of players to carry the legacy of the event and ensure that the two-day exhibition remains a grand success.
