Mexican Open: Full list of title winners

Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer and Thomas Muster hold records for most Mexican Open titles.
The Mexican Open is an ATP Tour professional tennis tournament played annually on outdoor hardcourts and is part of the ATP Tour 500 series. Until 2020, it was one of the WTA International tournaments on the WTA Tour.
It is usually been held annually in late February and early March at the Arena GNP Seguros since 2022 and previously at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess, both in Acapulco, Mexico. Until 2013, the tournament was played on outdoor red clay courts, but the switch to hardcourts was introduced in 2014.

The Mexico Open is regarded as the final leg of the Golden Swing, providing the ideal build-up to the highly awaited and prestigious WTA-1000 Indian Wells Open. The winner is traditionally awarded with a giant silver gourd trophy.
Rafael Nadal is the joint-most successful player in Mexican Open history, sharing the record with David Ferrer and Thomas Muster, each winning four titles. Muster holds the distinction of winning all four consecutively, the most in the tournament’s history.
On the women’s front, Amanda Coetzer (2001, 2003), Flavia Pennetta (2005, 2008), Venus Williams (2009–10), Sara Errani (2012–13), and Lesia Tsurenko (2017–18) share the record for most singles titles. No Indian has managed to win a title so far in Mexico.
