Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev Cincinnati Open 2025

Reigning champion Jannik Sinner is the hot contender at Cincinnati Open 2025.

Since 2015, no man has successfully defended the Cincinnati title. Roger Federer’s dominance at the event remains unmatched, holding a record seven trophies. Following a depleted ATP field in Canada, this Masters 1000 boasts a far stronger lineup, promising a highly competitive tournament.

Notable absentees from Cincinnati Open 2025 include Novak Djokovic, the three-time champion and Jack Draper. Chancing a bet on a player is tricky, as one bad day is all it takes. Moreover, things are not that straightforward on hard-court competitions, which are highly popular for upsets.

For all those of you wanting to bet for the upcoming ATP 1000 event, here are the top five players with the best odds.

Men’s singles players with best odds of winning Cincinnati Open 2025:

Jannik Sinner (+2.10)

Oddstracker has heavy expectations from Jannik Sinner, who has been backed to defend his title at Cincinnati. Playing his first even since winning Wimbledon, Sinner is certainly the best ATP hard-court player right now. The Italian is slated to meet Fritz in the semi-finals, a re-match of last year’s US Open finals.

The World No. 1 could once again face Carlos Alcaraz in the final, and despite holding a modest overall record against the Spaniard, Sinner would enter as the favourite to claim victory for the second consecutive time against Alcaraz in back-to-back finals.

Carlos Alcaraz (+3.00)

While Sinner is head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the men’s division, Carlos Alcaraz can never be underestimated. Having been dethroned from Wimbledon by Sinner recently, the Spaniard would be determined to return the favor in the hard-court swing.

Moreover, the five-time Grand Slam champion can cut Jannik Sinner’s ATP rankings lead by winning the Cincinnati Masters. Alcaraz, with five titles in 50+ matches this year, trails by nearly 3500 points. Sinner defends 3000 points this month, while Alcaraz has little to lose after struggling in both events last year.

Taylor Fritz (+19.00)

Taylor Fritz was a player to watch out for, in the hard court swing. However his recent performances have been disappointing, and massive workload could potentially affect him even at the upcoming Cincinnati Open. Currnelty ranked #4, the American failed to make the semi-finals at both Toronto and Washington, despite a weakened ATP draw.

Alexander Zverev (+19.00)

Alexander Zverev makes the cut over Shelton and Alex de Minaur, despite his average recent form. While the German should make the quarter-finals comfortably, he would have to punch above his weights to go any further. Given Zverev’s past results against top ranked players, it is highly doubtful if he progresses any further.

Ben Shelton (+21.00)

Recently crowned the champion of Tornoto, Ben Shelton will have to put in a massive performance in order to complete the Canada-Cincinnati double. The Cincinnati event starts just two days following the conclusion of Canadian Open, with the WTA finalists already pulling out of the event.

The American’s biggest career triumph saw him stun two top-10 players in the form of Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur, before defeating Karen Khachanov in the finals, coming back from a set down. A good outing could see him break into the top-5 ATP rankings as well.
