Six-time champions and 2025 runners-up Spain take on Chile.
Fourteen nations, including heavyweights USA, Germany, Great Britain and Spain, will compete in the Davis Cup 2026 Qualifiers Round 2 later this month. Seven teams will join defending champions and host nation Italy in Bologna for the finals.
The Davis Cup finals will be held in November. Hosts Italy await in the Final 8, having won their third straight Davis Cup in 2025 and fourth overall.
The Qualifiers, contested in a best-of-five format over two days, will determine the nations that advance to the Davis Cup Final 8 in November. The 13 winners from the opening round of Qualifiers will join last year’s runners-up Spain.
An Asian side is guaranteed in the Final 8 when Korea hosts India in Seoul. They are aiming for their first appearance in the quarter-final stage of the Davis Cup. South Korea have a 6-5 head-to-head advantage over India. The Spanish and French sides are bidding to appear in the Davis Cup Finals for the seventh time.
Spain takes on Chile, Germany takes on Croatia, and Great Britain takes on Ecuador. Rafael Jodar, making his Davis Cup debut, will lead the Spanish charge, with Carlos Alcaraz expected to join the team if they make the Final 8.

Arthur Fils leads the French side as they prepare to take on the 2022 champion Canada. World No. 4 Felix Auger-Aliassime leads the Canadians against ten-time champions France.
Three top-ten players are currently in the mix – newly crowned US Open champion Alexander Zverev, American No. 1 Ben Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime as they look to guide their teams into the Final 8.
USA take on a strong Czech side that includes Jiri Lehecka and Jakub Mensik. A lot will rest on Shelton’s shoulders after Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul both withdrew, with Learner Tien and World No. 104 Martin Damm replacing them.
The British squad will be without Jack Draper, while the Danish side welcomes back Holger Rune when it takes on Bulgaria in their World Group I fixture. The Danes are bidding to return to the Qualifiers next year.
