WWE Superstars are so closely connected to their fans that people celebrate them like an idol and if they hate a Superstar, they treat them like their enemy. However, some of the wrestlers have a special place in their fans’ hearts that they are beloved despite their ups and downs, or as a face or heel. Here is a list of the top five beloved WWE Superstars of all time.
5. The Undertaker
The Undertaker is one of the beloved wrestlers in WWE, who has been owning the hearts of generations. Although being adapted to a terrifying dark-horror gimmick, the Deadman was never being booed or hated by their fans. He has no reason to be hated, as every appearance of the phenom gives goosebumps in one way or another. Although he retired from wrestling, a bell sound is enough to cheer the fans up. No matter who your favorite wrestler is, Taker will always be beloved.
4. Hulk Hogan
The Immortal, Hulk Hogan is one of the most beloved WWE superstars of all time. He is the most renowned babyface of the wrestling industry. Hogan is known for his time in WWF from 1980s to 1990s, however he is globally loved across generations. The love of fans had reached a point where he was cheered despite being a heel. WWE used his popularity among fans and booked him as the default main eventer of Wrestlemania, where he claims it as the HulkaMania.
3. John Cena
When you hear the name John Cena, probably the first thing that comes to your mind is WWE and his huge fanbase. He is the constant babyface of the company, who carried the company to a whole new level and made non-wrestling fans into wrestling addicts. Cena has a huge spot in people’s hearts that they celebrate him as a superhero.
His “hustle, loyalty, respect”, “never give up” attitude, charismatic personality, engaging communication with the crowd, representing the people, stronger muscles, enthusiastic wrestling skills make him a complete package of a wrestler. Though Cena started his career as a heel, after becoming the face, he regretted turning heel again because of the love of fans. He represents the people and always will be beloved as the leader of Cenation.

2. The Rock
The Rock is one of the most celebrated wrestlers of all time with a huge fan following throughout his wrestling career and beyond. The Rock is not a complete package of a babyface like John Cena, he mocks others, rants at them, and makes fun of them, but still he is one of the most beloved wrestlers. His charismatic personality, entertaining mic skills, cockiest attitude, great looks and incredible wrestling skills made him wholesome. You may never know what “The Rock is Cooking”, but “The Millions” always got his back. “It doesn’t matter” whether you like The Rock or not he is the most beloved WWE Superstars of all time.
1. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin
The only man who could ever pull The Rock to the second spot is Steve Austin himself. The Texas RattleSnake is neither a baby face like the Hulk Hogan nor a heel like Ric Flair, he does whatever he wants, however he wants, whenever he wants. He gained mainstream popularity by his charismatic persona, fearless attitude, and stunning moves.
His feud with McMahon and The Rock made him gain a huge fan base. The fandom after a point became huge, where he was cheered for being a heel (Anti-hero). The Broken skull, Beer drinking machine has always been cheered across eras. He retired from wrestling in early 2000’s but still a broken glass sound could make the crowd go wild. Whether you like Stone Cold or not, he is the most beloved wrestler of all time because “That’s the Bottom line as the Stone Cold said so”.
