Who could be LWO's mystery partner at WWE Fastlane?
The LWO has been in a feud with Bobby Lashley & Street profits for almost a month. Lashley & Street Profits initiated the feud by confronting The LWO, and delivering the message that they are the dominant faction of SmackDown. The Street Profits picked up the first win against Cruze Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde. After the victory, they attacked Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar, which resulted in a match the next week, where Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar defeated Street Profits, which made Lashley angry.
Lashley appeared on the Grayson Waller Effect the following week and talked about changing the alliance, where Profits interfered to which Lashey said that he didn't want reasons and instead asked them to prove. The Street Profits then attacked Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar the same night to regain the trust. Following the attack, Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar challenged Bobby Lashley & Street Profits for a Six Man Tag Team Match.
As a preview for Fastlane, Rey Mysterio and Bobby Lashey fought each other the latest episode of SmackDown, where Lashley defeated Rey & the Street Profits and eventually injured Wilde & Del Toro. As Mysterio, Escobar & Vega were discussing who could they replace as a third person, Rey Mysterio went to have a phone call to fix the problem, stating they need a backup. So who did Rey Mysterio call to join LWO? Here we speculate some of the potential wrestlers who might join LWO at WWE Fastlane in the order of the possibility.
4. Dragon Lee
Last week on SmackDown, when LWO was assaulted by The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley, Dragon Lee was in the audience area, who tried to enter the ring and counter the trio, but the securities stopped him. Rey Mysterio previously stood on his side during his championship match at NXT against his son Dominik Mysterio. Lee mentioned Rey as his mentor and idol on multiple occasions. So considering all these terms, he might be the third member to join LWO at Fastlane.
3. Tony D’Angelo
Tony D’Angelo & Santos Escobar have had a long history together as a rivalry and friends. However, a month ago, during a similar situation in NXT, when the D’Angelo Family were short of a man, Escobar stepped in and won the match for them. After the match, Escobar had the LWO band on his hand and said that their bond is always strong and he will always be there for him. As Escobar came for them in the past, Tony might repay him by backing up team LWO. The family also had a talk with Street Profits in NXT in recent weeks, which makes it complicated, but it anyhow makes sense.
2. Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny is not new to LWO, they already worked together when Bunny fought against Damien Priest. The Grammy winning rapper could be an ideal replacement & could be the third person of Team LWO at Fastlane. This could bring a huge crowd reaction from the Indianapolis crowd.
1. Carlito
Carlito signed a contract with WWE and was waiting for a long time for a perfect time to make his return. However this could be the perfect time for “Caribbean Cool” to make his return and officially join LWO. Carlito last appeared in WWE television at Backlash, where he wore LWO gear to help Bad Bunny from Judgment Day. This is one of the most probable returns & makes absolute sense.
