Sheamus is one of the most talented professional wrestlers, who has been working WWE since 2006. He has proved his caliber throughout his run and has been highly successful in his career. He is a three-time WWE Champion, one-time World Heavyweight Champion, three-times United States Champion, four-time Raw Tag Team Champion and one-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion.

However, Sheamus was not given push from the company and did not have any interesting storylines. We have seen him publicly speak about his frustrations with his creativity and lack of push. When Sheamus was worrying about the creative bookings, he delivered a great match with Edge on Edge’s 25th Anniversary. Although he lost the match, he was appreciated for the efforts and great in-ring match. It was his final appearance in the television till date, as the Celtic warrior is not seen then.

However Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer News Radio reported that Sheamus suffered a serious shoulder injury and that was the reason he was not on the television and not booked for house shows. However, it is unclear how and when he suffered the injury, but it is speculated that the injury might be during the match with Edge. Since then there isn’t any update on news about him, but it is now rumored that Sheamus is weeks away from his return.

Sheamus WWE return

According to Wrestle Ops, ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus will be returning to television on November 24, 2023 episode of SmackDown at Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois one night before WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023. They also posted that his return speculations are purely based on WWE’s advertisements of the upcoming shows.

Without Sheamus, the Brawling Brutes are in and out of television and they are constantly booked to get defeated. Will his return help them get back on track? Will he be coming with a brand new storyline? With his current contract is near to end, could we see him sign yet another contract with the company? With a lot of questions on him, Sheamus’ return is anticipated among wrestling fans. Are you excited to see the Irishman back in action again? Comment your thoughts.
