WWE officials aiming to lure The Rock for Elimination Chamber 2024 in Australia
WWE announced that the 2024 WWE Elimination Chamber will be held live on February 24, 2024 at the Optus Stadium in Perth, West Australia. The event marks the first WWE event in Australia since WWE Super Showdown in October 2018. This is the stadium event with the occupying capacity of more than 60,000 fans.
The event carries huge expectations among the WWE fans and there were talks that the event will feature a number of top stars of the company. The poster confirms the appearance of Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul and Homie Rhea Ripley. It is now said that the WWE Officials are showing their interest in bringing The Rock to Australia.
The Rock at Elimination Chamber 2024?
The Western Australian Newspaper’s Sunday Times reported that the tourism officials in Australia posted a number of questions about WWE’s deal and whether they would be bringing the stars to Elimination Chamber 2024 in Optus Stadium, Perth in February 2024. The questions are raised mainly aiming to the possible appearance of The Rock.
Ever since WWE confirmed the Elimination Chamber premium live event in Perth, Western Australia, the rumors of The Rock’s appearance have been circulating the internet. West Australian News previously reported that The Rock might wrestle at Perth,
“Adding to the speculation is the fact that WWE was recently sold to Endeavor. There is a strong suggestion the company, which also owns the UFC, wants its first Wrestlemania in charge to be an absolute showstopper. As a result there is talk The Rock might very well wrestle in Perth at the Elimination Chamber in February on his way to Wrestlemania to face Reigns two months later.”
It seems like the WWE officials are showing huge interest in bringing the Great One to Perth and there are serious talks with the company. However there isn’t any confirmation from the company on the availability of The Rock.
Last time The Rock appeared on television was on September 15, 2023 with Pat McAfee and had a segment with Austin Theory. Could we be able to see The Rock in Optus Stadium for Elimination Chamber?
