CM Punk asserts he is ready for WWE Royal Rumble 2024

CM Punk made an unannounced return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames and got signed to WWE Raw. He then was confronted by the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins weeks ago and both had hate talks with each other. Punk then announced his participation in the 2024 Royal Rumble and said that if he wins the Rumble he may challenge him at WrestleMania 40.
As Punk announced his entry to the Rumble match, he was not seen on television, but started wrestling in WWE Live Holiday Tour house shows. He had his return match against Dominik Mysterio at Madison Square Garden New York and went on to have a match against him at Los Angeles, where he defeated Dom and cut a promo dropping spoilers for Royal Rumble.
CM Punk is ready for Royal Rumble
CM Punk after his match with Dominik Mysterio on December 30, 2023 at Kia Forum in Los Angeles had a microphone segment where Punk dropped spoilers, stating that he will go and win the Royal Rumble at the end of January and instead of pointing his hands to the WrestleMania board, he would have his hands on his chest, where his fans reside. He also said that he would finish what he started at WrestleMania.
CM Punk said,
“At the end of the month in January, I go to the Royal Rumble and damnit, if there was a sign hanging in this building I’d point at it right now. But I’ll point at my heart [Punk does so] because that’s where all of you reside until I walk into the Rumble and I walk out the winner! That’s me, finishing what I started and it’s not over then because then I’m going to go on to main event WrestleMania. And that’s not the finish of my story, sorry Cody, that’s me just getting started!”.
Will Punk be able to complete his story ahead of Cody Rhodes, who also announced his Royal Rumble entry with the same aim of finishing the story?
