This week’s Monday Night Raw will feature a tornado tag team match!
The upcoming September 29 episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Multiple big names, including Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, Jey Uso, and LA Knight, are being advertised for the show.
The show will keep building toward next month’s Crown Jewel PLE, with fans expecting more match announcements. Like the previous two weeks’ shows of the Red brand, this one will also kick off at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT.
The Usos (Jey & Jimmy Uso) are set to battle The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed) in a tornado tag team match this week. This will be a rematch from their meeting at Wrestlepalooza 2025, where The Vision picked up the win.
Following his victory over JD McDonagh, Rusev is now set to face Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental title. Rusev is determined to claim the title as “his,” while Mysterio aims to extend his reign as a double champion.
After defeating Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez, Bayley will face Raquel Rodriguez this week in North Carolina. Rodriguez had a hand in last week’s match, causing several distractions during Perez’s bout with Bayley. She will now have to deal with Bayley one-on-one.
Last week, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee told GM Adam Pearce they were annoyed by the Americanos and wanted a match. When asked which two, they didn’t care. Pearce promised to arrange it for this week. WWE is yet to officially announce the match.
In the final moments of last week’s Raw, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), after weeks of tease, finally turned heel, with Iyo Sky suffering the wrath of Asuka as she tried to save Rhea Ripley from further punishment.
Following last week’s beatdown, both Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley are set for an appearance on this week’s show, likely addressing the attack.
