The WWE locker room has certain superstars that can jump ship in light of recent events.

WWE has become the global juggernaut of wrestling for the last four decades. In the years that followed, the company has seen multiple top-level and talented stars amaze the audience with their in-ring acumen, charisma and personalities.

Even in the modern era, these top-tier talents are making a huge impact. However, five names in WWE might leave the promotion for a rival company, AEW considering recent events:

5. Chad Gable

Chad Gable has gained immense popularity as the leader of the Alpha Academy. Moreover, his recent change in attitude has also drawn significant attention and got him multiple title opportunities, only to come short in the end.

Moreover, should Gable lose to his rival, Sami Zayn once again in their upcoming bout at WWE Clash at the Castle for the WWE Intercontinental title amidst his contract coming to an end, Gable could be headed to AEW who according to recent reports also shown interest in signing the former Olympian.

4. Natalya

Natalya has been a WWE veteran for almost 15 years, winning titles and elevating the competition in the years of her tenure. However, with her current WWE deal expiring soon, The Queen of Harts could shock the fans and make a switch to AEW to explore a new direction and possibly be involved in her legendary uncle’s name-sake tournament, the Owen Hart Cup while also helping the company elevate talents much like she did in WWE during her stay.

3. Dijak

Despite being one of the hottest prospects picked from NXT by Monday Night RAW in the WWE Draft 2024, Dijak is yet to appear on the red brand. Moreover, the former Retribution member’s current WWE contract is also reaching its expiration date.

With no plans rumored to be in place for Dijak, he could use the opportunity to head to Tony Khan’s company, AEW. Dijak’s hard-hitting and offensive style could add credibility to the AEW roster and become a main-event talent in his own right.

2. AJ Styles

AJ Styles created a massive ruse on SmackDown by hinting at his retirement, only to lure the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes and launch a surprise attack on him. With Styles set to battle Rhodes for the title in an I Quit match at the upcoming WWE Clash at the Castle, the bout could be the perfect send-off with AJ losing the bout and putting an end to his WWE tenure.

Moreover, this could allow Tony Khan to sign one of the greatest in-ring performers to his roster while giving AJ Styles the chance to join a locker room with familiar faces.

1. Shinsuke Nakamura

The King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura has been one of the most talented and captivating WWE superstars from Japan for years. However, WWE has failed to capitalize on his full potential leading to no significant push for the former Royal Rumble winner.

This could prompt Nakamura to leave WWE for AEW opening doors to a better career direction. Moreover, the fans could also witness a huge showdown between Nakamura and his friend from Japan, Kazuchika Okada that could further entice him to join Tony Khan’s company.
