The 7/23 episode of WWE NXT was filled with exciting matches

WWE successfully hosted the June 18, 2024 episode of WWE NXT from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida, United States. WWE has showcased some of the interesting matches and segments on the show.

Get to know what happened on this week’s WWE NXT, as we come out with the complete summary of what happened on the show.

Trick Williams was Live

Trick Williams kicked off this week’s WWE NXT and called out Ethan Page for a championship rematch. However, Cedric Alexander & Ashante “Thee” Adonis interrupted him. All three yell at each other. Alexander got upset with Williams and challenged him to a match. Williams accepted the challenge and sent Adonis flying out of the ring.

No Disqualification Match- Josh Briggs vs Brooks Jensen

Josh Briggs and Brooks Jenson fought in a no disqualification, where both carried the fight throughout the arena. Jensen slammed Briggs into the bell and Briggs chokeslammed Jensen through the announcement table.

Jensen tried for a piledriver on the steps, but Briggs escaped and hit the steps, crashing his knee. As the match swung both ways, Shawn Spears appeared and attacked Briggs from behind. Jensen used the momentum to hit Briggs with a chair and a DDT on the chair to pick up the win.

Lexis King vs Eddy Thorpe

Lexis King ran over Thorpe as soon as the bell rang, but Thorpe countered with a series of strikes. King sent Thorpe to the turnbuckle and tried for a coronation, however, Thorpe escaped and delivered a PK and tried a DDT, but King delivered a crown. King tried for a Coronation again, but Thorpe with an implant DDT picked up the win. After the match King attacked Thorpe, sending him to the steel steps and smashed his hands between the steps.

Oro Mensah vs Ashante “Thee” Adonis

The match began with Adonis getting distracted by Jakara, which made Mensah take the initial shots. Both exchanged some series of strikes and Mensah hit him with a suplex. Adonis then had a brief control, however he again got distracted by Jackson and made Mensah stop him. Adonis delivered a spine buster, which went for a near fall. Mensah soon got fired up and delivered a running wheel kick in the corner on Adonis to pick up the win.

Carlee Bright vs Wren Sinclair

Bright started the match by landing a big move, however, Dempsey saved the match, by landing Sinclair’s foot on the rope.  Gray suplexed Borne outside the ring. As the brawl broke out outside the ring, Dempsey helped Sinclair to pick up the win.

Trick Williams vs Cedric Alexander

The match began with both countering each other’s move and Williams took control with a slam and elbow strike. Alexander fought back delivering a suplex on the apron. Back in the ring, both hit a big boot on each other. Cedric went for a Michinoku Driver and went for a near fall. Trick then hit a Trickshot and secured the win. After the match, both shook hands. As Trick celebrated his win, Pete Dunner attacked him from behind.

Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson vs Sol Ruca & Karmen Petrovic

Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson of Meta Four faced Sol Ruca and Karmen Petrovic in a tag team march. Ruca & Petrovic took the initial control with a double-team offense on Jackson. When Legend got the tag, she got fired up and took Ruca down with a bicycle kick. Jackson & Legend took Ruca in control, however she managed to tag Karmen in. Karmen with a series of kicks tried to pin Lash, but Legend delivered her finisher to win the match.

The Rascalz vs Axiom, Nathan Frazer & Je’Von Evans

In the main event of this week’s WWE NXT, The Rascalz faced the NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom & Nathan Frazer & Je’Von Evans in a Six-man tag team match. Axiom & Miguel started the match with Axiom taking control and tagging Frazer for a double-team maneuver. However, Rascalz cleared the stage.

Back after the commercial, Wes Lee and Evans squared off and both showcased extreme athleticism. Evan cleared the ring and jumped over the top rope on them and Wentz followed with another dive to clear the field. In the final moments of the match, Lee & Wentz delivered a Hot Free Flame on Axiom for the win.
