Solo Sikoa and the rest of The bloodline target Cody Rhodes

WWE’s Clash at the Castle kicked off with a brutal and thrilling match between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles for the Undisputed World Title. The event, held at the OVO Hydro, saw Cody retain his title in an intense “I Quit” match. Both wrestlers bled, with Cody eventually handcuffing AJ to the ropes and forcing him to quit. The victory was significant, but it marked the beginning of a renewed feud with The Bloodline.

After Cody’s victory, The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa, appeared to exact revenge on The American Nightmare. This confrontation reignited the rivalry that had seemingly ended after WWE WrestleMania XL. Solo Sikoa, accompanied by Tango Loa and Tama Tonga, ambushed Cody, delivering a post-match beating that was only halted by the intervention of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.

Solo Sikoa’s motivation to challenge Cody Rhodes stems from his desire to avenge Roman Reigns’ loss at WrestleMania 40. Also, becoming the New Tribal Chief fuels more of revenge. Cody’s win over Reigns dethroned The Tribal Chief, and Solo, now the new leader of The Bloodline, seeks retribution.

The history between Cody and Solo dates back to 2023, with Solo playing a crucial role in Cody’s loss to Reigns at WrestleMania 39. Although Cody defeated Solo in a previous singles match, the dynamic has changed with the addition of Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga to Solo’s side.

Cody Rhodes’ allies, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, have already proven their willingness to support him against The Bloodline. Their involvement adds an intriguing layer to the developing storyline. Randy Orton’s experience and Owens’ unpredictability make them formidable partners for Cody as he navigates his championship reign and the threat posed by Solo Sikoa and his associates.

Let’s look at three ways how Solo Sikoa vs Cody Rhodes can play out:

3. Solo Sikoa relentlessly keeps attacking Cody Rhodes till he gets his world Championship opportunity

Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline already told Paul Heyman once that they have Cody Rhodes “in check”. With the assault by Solo and the rest of the Bloodline at Clash at the Castle one thing is clear Solo Sikoa is getting a World Title opportunity.

But how do we believe The Bloodline will continue to attack Cody Rhodes after the Clash at the Castle incident and constantly keep him in check? This will also bring Tama Tonga Tonga Loa into the picture as they will be able to get into feuds with the likes of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.

2. Solo Sikoa working on The Rock’s orders

After WrestleMania 40, the Rock teased that Rhodes’ story might be finished with Roman Reigns but his story has just started with “The Final Boss”.

There is a huge possibility that Solo is working on The Rock’s orders and it will be interesting to see how things change, but one thing is for sure The Rock will definitely return to humble “The American Nightmare” as he would everything in his power to bring him down.

1. Roman Reigns’ return at SummerSlam

With Solo Sikoa continuously on the back of Rhodes, one thing looks clear WWE wants to sell Solo Sikoa as a future WWE Champion and what does he need for that? Match with the current biggest babyface in WWE. But with all the tensions surrounding the Bloodline with Paul Heyman unhappy with Sikoa’s reign of terror, Roman Reigns can return to take his place as the OG “Tribal Chief”.

Cause If WWE is planning Rhodes vs The Rock for WrestleMania 41 then Solo doesn’t have any chance of taking the belt off Cody’s shoulder as WWE would want to sell that PPV. So, Roman’s return could imply that Solo turning a new chapter as both men would start a rivalry for ages to remember.
