These teasers will likely shape future storylines!

The September 15 episode of WWE Raw served as the go-home show for Wrestlepalooza 2025 and featured a final face-off before the finale on Saturday. This week’s show aired live from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The show featured an appearance from John Cena, while CM Punk & AJ Lee faced off against Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch ahead of the PLE. Lyra Valkyria pinned Roxanne Perez, while Penta defeated Kofi Kingston. Furthermore, El Grande Americano defeated Dragon Lee, and Stephanie Vaquer pinned Kairi Sane.

In the main event of the show, Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed defeated LA Knight & Jimmy Uso. However, that’s not all, during the show, WWE also teased three storylines that caught fans’ attention.

3. Split personality

The promotion has been slowly cooking Bayley’s identity crisis following back-to-back setbacks. To her credit, the future Hall of Famer has delivered above and beyond in her promos. However, this week’s Raw was the first time she made an appearance to aid Lyra Valkyria as she took out Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.

Later, Valkyria overheard a heated argument involving Bayley. She entered the room only to find The Role Model alone in her locker room. Wearing a half-black, half-white shirt, Bayley verbally blasted her former friend for barging in without permission, leaving Valkyria stunned by the angry version of Bayley she had just encountered.

WWE‘s decision to slowly unravel Bayley’s new character arc is likely to keep fans engaged, especially with the potential “will they, won’t they” buildup to a potential clash with Lyra.

2. Rhea Ripley eyes the World title

During this week’s show, Stephanie Vaquer was getting ready for her match against Kairi Sane when Rhea Ripley appeared. She told Vaquer that whether it was her or Iyo Sky who won the title, she was coming for it. Vaquer and Iyo will battle for the vacant title at the upcoming PLE.

Ripley, in recent times, has mostly been absent from programming apart from a few backstage appearances. However, with the ongoing Asuka drama and her renewed focus on the Women’s World Title, Ripley’s upcoming schedule is expected to become much more active.

Signs also point towards Vaquer winning the title if Asuka betrays Sky, turning heel in the process. If this happens, it would also help Ripley get out of the ‘Iyo Sky’ vortex and feud with someone other than Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky.

1. Next Intercontinental Champion?

Before the main event of the show, Dominik Mysterio was celebrating his second title win with the Judgement Day when Rusev appeared and introduced himself. Dominik denied his handshake as Rusev stated that he is the next WWE Intercontinental Champion before walking off.

With Rusev’s return and a few matches and feuds helping re-establish him, it was likely he would set his sights on a mid-card title before moving up to the main event scene. This feud will also provide a fresh breath of air for fans, who have been watching the same type of feuds for the majority of the titles.

Rusev’s fearless persona adds an intriguing layer to the mix, providing a fresh set of matches for fans, even involving the Judgment Day.

Who won in the main event of tonight’s WWE Raw?

The team of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed defeated LA Knight and Jimmy Uso in the main event of tonight’s show.

Did the show feature any major returns?

Yes, Bayley made her return following weeks of eerie promos.
