Alexa Bliss has been on a long hiatus from WWE TV since early 2023
Alexa Bliss is one of the great professional wrestlers, who have a great run in WWE. She is a nine-time champion, with three Raw Women’s Championships, two SmackDown Women’s Championships, three tag team championships and one 24/7 championship reign. The Five Feet Fury is always in the spotlight and is the top star in the company. Bliss is highly successful both as a face and a heel.
In 2020, the world saw an alter ego of Alexa Bliss after aligning with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt. The mystical gimmick was associated with The Fiend and was teased during Wyatt’s return with Uncle Howdy in 2022. However, Bliss went on maternity leave and has been on hiatus for a long time since early 2023.
With Uncle Howdy and Wyatt Sicks’ faction making their return last week on Raw, there have been many questions, about whether Alexa Bliss will be involved in the faction as only five of the six members have returned. At this stage backstage details on WWE Raw hints at the potential angle for Bliss’ return.
Alexa Bliss could help R-Truth
During the first hour of 6/24 WWE Raw, Chad Gable arrived at the arena in a car and was escorted by some security guards, following last week’s attack by Wyatt Sicks. While he was taken to the locker room, the promotional truck backstage featured the Alter Ego version of Alexa Bliss with R-Truth near him.
R Truth the same night was manipulated by Liv Morgan to defend their World Tag Team Championship against Judgment Day. Later in the main event, Awesome Truth lost their title by Liv Morgan’s interference.
Connecting these two, a backstage rumor kicked in saying that Alexa Bliss could probably make his return and save R-Truth from Liv Morgan and Judgment Day for taking advantage of Truth’s innocence.
Alexa Bliss could target the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
On the other hand, WWE posted the arrival of Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for Raw, saying “Eyes on the Champ 👀”. To which Alexa Bliss commented with an eyes emoji, “👀”. Seemingly hint that Bliss could come for the tag team titles.
