These WWE superstars definitely deserve a push.

WWE has always relied on a handful of top names to carry the company. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and Charlotte Flair will always be in the spotlight. But if the company leans too heavily on them, the product risks becoming stale and predictable.

To keep fans invested, WWE needs to elevate fresh stars into meaningful storylines. WrestlePalooza 2025 is the perfect turning point, and several talents are ready for bigger opportunities. Here are five performers who deserve a serious push once the event is in the rearview.

5. Rey Fenix

Rey Fenix has been one of the most exciting additions to WWE in recent memory. Known for his breathtaking aerial offense, the former AEW star brings an energy few can match. His recent Open Challenge clash with Sami Zayn reminded fans just how electric he can be.Despite his popularity, Fenix has lost too many matches since arriving in WWE. The solution is simple: put a mid-card title around his waist. With veterans like Randy Orton and The Miz already established, it’s time for newer stars like Fenix to shine.

4. Carmelo Hayes

Carmelo Hayes showed flashes of brilliance the moment he stepped on SmackDown. His showdown with Cody Rhodes during his first run as Undisputed WWE Champion revealed that Hayes can already hang with the very best. He has charisma, confidence, and in-ring skill, the full package.

But despite his early promise, Hayes has been stuck in inconsistent feuds. WWE must give him the same treatment Bron Breakker received, placing him in title-level storylines. After WrestlePalooza, Hayes should be elevated toward either a mid-card belt or even a world title chase.

Penta brought with him years of global experience and fanfare when he arrived in WWE. His charisma and aura set him apart, and his connection with the audience is undeniable. Yet his repeated losses to Dominik Mysterio have hurt his credibility.

With the right booking, Penta could be a major star. A fresh feud outside of the New Day and mid-card limbo would be a start. WWE should capitalize on his popularity and finally give him meaningful victories that move him up the card.

2. Rusev

Rusev’s comeback should have been a headline-making moment, but instead, it has lacked direction. Fans still remember his dominant heel run and the hugely popular “Rusev Day” chants. He has both the power and personality to make a major impact in today’s WWE.

Dominik Mysterio’s Intercontinental Title reign has run its course, and Rusev is the perfect candidate to dethrone him. Bringing legitimacy back to the title through a powerhouse like Rusev would reignite interest in the mid-card division.

1. Aleister Black

Aleister Black has one of the most unique presences in all of WWE. His striking aura, and mysterious persona set him apart from everyone else on the roster. But stop-start booking has prevented him from breaking through to the next level.

A feud with Sami Zayn or even Cody Rhodes could instantly restore his credibility. Black has all the tools to be a major star, and with WrestlePalooza marking a fresh chapter, WWE should finally give him the push he has long deserved.
