Trish Stratus has made it clear that retirement is not in her vocabulary. The iconic wrestler, who returned to the ring in 2023 for a notable feud with Becky Lynch, continues to leave the door open for future in-ring appearances.

During a recent Q&A panel recorded by Going Ringside, Stratus humorously dismissed the idea of retirement, indicating that she remains ready for whatever comes next in her illustrious career. Alongside her long-time friend and fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Lita, Stratus emphasizes the importance of staying prepared in the unpredictable world of professional wrestling.

Despite their recent absence from the ring, the duo’s legacy and influence continue to resonate with fans and the wrestling community alike.

“What is Retirement?” says WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus’s outlook on retirement is both playful and telling of her enduring passion for wrestling. When asked about the possibility of hanging up her boots for good, Stratus responded with characteristic humor and determination.

“Retirement? What is retirement? I’m not familiar with this word. I don’t know anything about this word,” she quipped. This statement underscores her readiness to step back into the ring whenever the opportunity arises. Stratus, who engaged in a high-profile match with Becky Lynch from WrestleMania 39 to Payback in 2023, remains a formidable presence in WWE, and her refusal to consider retirement keeps fans hopeful for future appearances.

Lita also talked about her retirement

Echoing Stratus’s sentiments, Lita also emphasized the necessity of staying prepared in the ever-changing landscape of WWE.

“Which is good because you don’t usually have a lot of heads up on what you’re doing or what the plan is, and if you did, it most likely will change,” Lita shared during the same Q&A session. She elaborated on the fluid nature of wrestling plans, advising that excitement should be tempered until the moment one walks through the curtain.

Lita, who has not wrestled since WrestleMania 39, remains open to the possibility of returning to the ring, guided by the same principle of readiness that she and Stratus uphold.
