On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that WWE is feeling embarrassed by Becky Lynch’s recent Raw promo involving Ozzy Osbourne’s death and has considered issuing a public apology.

Lynch, during her promo with Nikki Bella on the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, mentioned the legendary British musician, stating, “The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago. But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”

The comment caused uproar for many fans, and Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, expressed her anger, calling out Becky in her IG stories for disrespecting her father.

Vince McMahon’s reckless driving charge

According to a report from PW Insider, former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is expected back in court on October 16 for his reckless driving charge from last month. McMahon is facing charges of reckless driving and following too closely, following a July 24 accident in Connecticut.

As per TMZ, Mark Sherman, the attorney representing the former WWE Chairman, confirmed that he filed a motion on Tuesday to have the case suspended and dismissed.

McMahon recently celebrated his 80th birthday with a lavish party, attended by multiple top names in the WWE, including legends, Hall of Famers, and current superstars.

WWE ID releases

Additionally, PW Insider has also reported that Ice Williams and Jordan Oasis have been released by WWE ID. WWE Independent Development (WWE ID) is a program aimed at offering independent wrestlers a structured pathway to potentially join WWE.

The program is designed to support independent wrestling schools and promotions by granting them access to high-quality training and mentorship. It will also improve developmental opportunities for current talent.

The program further aims to designate key independent wrestling schools with the WWE ID label to offer new trainees and current talent improved developmental opportunities.
