Chris Jericho’s return update & TKO employees layoffs

According to PW Insider, many in WWE think that Chris Jericho has made inquiries to see if WWE would be interested in him once his AEW contract ends.
The former WWE world champion is currently under contract with AEW, but the rumors of his return has been rife in recent times. Jericho has been with AEW since 2019, and his last WWE appearance was during the Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27, 2018.

Cody Rhodes’ filming schedule

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has been absent from WWE Programming since the August 9 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he was put through the announce desk by Drew McIntyre. A new report has now provided an update on his filming schedule amid his hiatus.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cody Rhodes will finish filming his scenes for the Street Fighter movie by the Wrestlepalooza PLE on September 20. The report also notes that Roman Reigns has different filming dates from Rhodes, though there will be some overlap.
Vince McMahon’s friend circle

The Wrestling Observer also mentions that there was “a period when all but a few of [Vince] McMahon’s closest friends had nothing to do with him.” However, “in a lot of the cases, it was because of their wives being appalled by the lawsuit and not wanting their husbands to have an association.”
They also reported that there was a time when “people in WWE were told not to have any contact” with Vince, but that’s clearly no longer the case.
Danger Pro Wrestling booking Raja Jackson
After Danger Pro Wrestling announced Raja Jackson for an upcoming appearance, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live was informed that “apparently the building put the ixnay on it… I think the building basically said he’s not welcome.”
Raja Jackson, son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, was seen violently attacking a pro wrestler, Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu, at Rikishi’s Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy in California on Saturday. The disturbing scene was captured live on the streaming platform Kick.
