According to PW Insider, the Stamford-based promotion is planning to turn Chicago into the hub of professional wrestling in early 2026, with Elimination Chamber as the centerpiece of a large multi-event weekend.
The Elimination Chamber PLE is tentatively scheduled for February 28, 2026, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Reports indicate that WWE plans an expanded slate of shows around the event to create a festival-style experience for fans, potentially including shows from AAA and NXT, as well as a SmackDown event the night before.

According to TC of WrestleVotes, there were internal concerns that Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed might receive babyface reactions from fans following their turn on Seth Rollins, which contributed to the decision to exclude them from last week’s Battle Royal on Monday Night Raw.

PW Insider also reports that talents have started recording voiceovers for the upcoming video game, WWE 2K26. The roster will include the most up-to-date lineup of superstars.
The 2025 edition of the game dropped in March, and fans are anticipating improved gameplay mechanics, more immersive story modes, and potentially some long-awaited roster changes.
Additionally, according to a report from Fightful Select, Steve Maclin’s contract with TNA Wrestling expires at the end of 2025. Fightful also reports that Rich Swann, along with others, is currently working for TNA on a per-appearance basis.
